A panel with Shannon Phillips, MD, MPH (Intermountain Healthcare), Tamara Perry (Children’s Health System of Texas) and Michelle Stansbury (Houston Methodist) tackled the major technological innovations revolutionizing healthcare delivery: “Tech-enabled, Connected, Comprehensive Care for All - Telehealth, Remote Patient Monitoring, and Smart Devices.

Speakers and experts throughout the Spring 2021 HealthIMPACT Live Forum addressed equitable access. “Who is Telehealth Really Working for - How Successes and Mismatches in Virtual Health Rollout Should Shape Ongoing Virtual Health Strategy” brought together Judd Hollander, MD (Jefferson Health), David Fletcher, MBA (Geisinger) and Rasu Shrestha, MD (Atrium Health). Kevin Mahoney of the University of Pennsylvania Health System had an open conversation with Shahid Shah entitled “Innovation Starts with Access”.

Personal and firsthand accounts included Lex Gillette, a 4-time silver medal paraolympian, speaking with Jan Smith Reed from T-Base Communications about “An Olympian’s Real-Life Perspective on Healthcare Accessibility.” Pamela Arora (Children’s Health System of Texas) and Sue Schade (StarBridge Advisors) presented “Life Changing Lessons from the Bedside to the Boardroom.”
